Stocks are like wine

Research has suggested that being able to pronounce a wine’s name is a significant factor in the decision on whether to order in a restaurant (no one wants to sound stupid by mispronouncing).

Happened upon some research from the spring which also shows a correlation between stock performance and a pronounceable ticker symbol. Interesting.

Now this is totally separate from my scheme to list penny stocks with ticker symbols similar to legit co’s in the hopes that someone mistypes a large limit order and actually pays $400/share for GOG when they meant to buy GOOG 🙂
