As someone with a funny foreign accent, I wasn’t really that offended by the ads.Though as someone with a sense of humor, I was horrified.:)In general, I thought the “racist” analysis goes overboard. Society’s decided stereotypes are funny. There wouldn’t have been the same reaction if the accents/jokes were British/French/(insert W. European country)
Its a lowest common denominator humor – how much did they pay to be unfunny and promote sterotyping? Me no likey likey them either!
